Ewok Style Dangling Treehouses for Sale

So it looks like this Canadian guy named Tom Chudleigh is building so pretty sweet houses that just kinda hang there in the trees. If you have seen Star Wars and loved it (who didn’t?) you will see what inspired Tom to build these crazy domestic spheres.
These houses are “hand crafted, eco-friendly houses, which can comfortably sleep four. The Free Spirit Spheres are made of wood and coated in fiberglass for a waterproof exterior, and takes three people merely three days to be put up…The interior is fitted with a working kitchen, a microwave, fridge and sink,” - Pretty freaking sweet. The point of these houses, besides the obvious, is to be able to chill in the rainforests while having as little impact on them as possible. For the bare bones sphere it will cost you $45000, while the complete version will be slightly pricier at $152000. Buy one for yourself here.

The Swamp Collection - Thermochromatic Furniture

Wow! Thermochromatic Furniture, cool! For those of you who don’t know what that big word means, (possibly the longest word ever to appear on brblife.com) it is defined as “Thermochromatic ink is a type of dye that changes color when temperatures increase or decrease.” So anyway, this cool/magical stuff is incorporated into these crazy shaped pieces of furniture known as The Swamp Collection from the Visual Reference Studio. “The Swamp Collection is inspired by the flora and fauna of the Mississippi cypress swamp, where the studio is located.” Prices range from $800 to $5000. We suggest ‘The smoke alarm’ designed by Jacob Jensen. “It is an ionizing smoke detector which reacts rapidly to fast growing and especially hot fires.” This amazigly cool Star Treck esq designer smoke detector, as you could probably guess, doesn’t come cheap. But you can buy one here anyway, for $60.
