War On Terror – The Board Game! (banned)
October 30, 2007
WAR ON TERROR, THE BOARDGAME: “It’s got suicide bombers, political kidnaps and intercontinental war. It’s got filthy propaganda, rampant paranoia and secret treaties and the Axis of Evil is a spinner in the middle of the board.”
It is a satirical reaction to modern day events, a highly topical game of strategy that sees players struggling to restore order to our turbulent world. “The goal of War on Terror is to liberate the world, ridding it of fear forever. Alternatively, you can play for a world without empires. Incredibly insightful, War on Terror is like a cross between Risk and Monopoly with loads of complex contemporary crises thrown in.” This game was banned in a lot of US states. So get it while you still can!
Check out more pictures, descriptions, even a movie, oh and also buy it, at the firebox website here for about $60.00 . You can also buy it from the official War on Terror website here.

October 30, 2007
This huge robot dinosaur stands at about 40 feet tall, weighs 60,000 pounds, lifts 4,000 pound cars up higher than a 5 story building, breathes 20 feet fingers of flame, and crushes cars with 24,000 pounds of transfixing force. And you can own it and keep it in your back yard! Robosaurus is set to be auctioned off during the annual Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona between January 12 and January 20. It even transforms into a legal, licensed trailer for transportation! (more than meets the eye)
Check out a video of it in action here.

1-18-08 (Cloverfield) – Secret Movie Worthy of Viral Ad Campagin?
October 29, 2007
A mysterious new Action and Adventure movie by director Matt Reeves. The marketing team on this movie are trying to do a viral advertising campaign. They are not revealing any information about it except for this short trailer that was apparently shown in the opening attractions for the Transformers movie. Obviously I didn’t see Transformers. The title is Cloverfield I think, but they would have you believe it is some date (hmm. release date maybe??) Ugh, I hate that they think the movie is worth the hype they are trying to get it. So anyway, the trailer looks pretty cool, however, I don’t like the whole viral ad campaign and I feel shitty about feeding it. But whatever. Tell me if you think it going to be worth the hype(or lack there of). Check out the trailer in full HD! Here.

Flying Dumpster in Halo 3 – New Secret Vehicle
October 29, 2007
So these clever guys found out how to make a dumpster in Halo 2 fly. All you have to do is tip over a dumpster on its side and get two players to climb inside. After this you have to time your jumps in sync with each other and it begins to fly as you jump! Apparently if you get good enough at it then you can start to steer it around. lolz

Gaming Vest Lets You Feel the Game!
October 27, 2007
The next level of gaming evolution is upon us. TN Games have just designed what they call the 3rd Space Vest, which allows gamers to actually feel the impact of punches and shots. Adding a whole new level of realism in computer simulations than has ever been achieved before. It looks like a bullet proof vest, and that’s essentially the idea. To feel the impact, not suffer from it. It simulates an impact upon the gamer’s body by alternating air pressures that simulate the sensation of impact with a pneumatic thump. The more intense the impact, the greater the air pressure alternates. The vest contains eight zones pressure areas which can focus force accurately to simulate not only punches and gunshots, but also stabs, explosions, and even a gentile touch or tap of another player. It will be bundled with two games; 3rd Space Incursion and a special edition of Call of Duty II. It even comes in pink for your girlfriend!
It is set to come out in November and cost $189.
